This original design makes its debut in Spider-Man 2. Peter’s original, Otto Octavius-designed Advanced Suit from 2018’s Spider-Man and 2020’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales makes a return appearance. It’s a streamlined and updated take on Ben’s costume from the infamous Clone Saga crossover of the mid-’90s. This suit was worn by Peter’s clone Ben Reilly in the 2017 comic Ben Reilly: Scarlet Spider. This is Insomniac’s take on the traditional red and blue Spider-Man costume, which Peter wore in the early missions in the original 2018 Spider-Man game.
While Peter himself never became Anti-Venom in the comics, multiple characters have worn a similar costume that serves as the reverse-colored version of the black Venom suit. Peter develops an Anti-Venom suit late in the game to combat Venom. This is a slightly more stylized take on the black suit design, one that reflects the alien nature of the symbiote and shows more of a wet, muscle-y texture. This is Insomniac’s take on the iconic black suit, one that sticks pretty close to the traditional comic book look. It’s a slightly altered version of the first game’s Advanced Suit, with a few extra white elements added into the design. This is the main suit featured in Spider-Man 2.
